FORMAL PHOTOGRAPH CRITIQUE
This is a photo of Abraham Lincoln. The photograph is black and white, and the three men stand directly in front of a tent along the filthy grass where it seems to be a battleground. It appears they have nothing left behind them except for the paper shreds that lay upon the ground. With the men all dressed in formal attire, we can see their level of importance in this time period. In the image he looks seemingly confused, yet angry and determined to fix a given situation. Judging from the facial expressions, we can interpret he has lost the Civil War in the year of 1881. In photography, we may classify this image as asymmetrical, simplicity, and framing.
Photo critique:This is an image captured by myself, of Teddy Schmid and Isaac Wilson. The 2 are standing asymmetrical to one another, as well, the scene is full of color and saturation. In the photo they are seemingly upset and angry with the fact that they had to take a photo rather than jump on a trampoline. This photo contains the following elements such as, asymmetrical balance, built in light meter, shadow and leading lines.
