ANNIE LEIBOVITZ
Annie Leibovitz- According to http://www.biography.com "Annie is considered one of the best portrait photographers in America." Annie started out just producing images for "vanity fair" in the year of 1983. Many started to recognize her talents and "showcase her work around the world." Her first job as a photographer was given by, "Allen Ginsberg." He started her out as the "staff photographer" and she began to work her way up from there. After a "23 year" period, she was promoted to a high position, chief photographer. She began to shoot photos such as, olympics, disney, artists, celebrities, musicians. she started shooting photos of the "Rolling Stones" when she was on tour and from then on began to capture photos in the music and celebrity industry. Her name was produced from then on. Annie's work was mainly inspired by, Richard Avedon and Henri Cartier-Bresson. Annie's work is considered different/unique due to, "bright colors, the intense lighting created, and the unique poses of the models." My thoughts of Annie when I view her photography are, I love all of the themes she creates in every photo. One interesting thing to focus on is the fact that each photo is different, none resemble one another. Her range of photography is incredible, she captures from Disney-Olympics. My personal opinion is I admire her photography, it is exactly my style of capturing photos, I am incredibly inspired by her work and will continue to look at her photos for example in future events.
