- Delete all images on the camera: Use the (OK) button and click the multiselector option to delete all images.
- Set the Image Quality to JPEG Fine click-menu, then with your multi-selector, press the left arrow. Find the camera icon on the selector bar, then find image quality on the shooting menu. Press OK, then use the multi-selector to find JPEG fine.
- Set the Image Size to Large: Go to shooting menu and select image size.
- Set the Mode dial to Auto: Turn the dial to where it says "auto" in green.
- Turn the auto Flash Off: Press the flash button and while you are holding it, turn the knob that's next to the AE-L button by the view finder.
- Set exposure compensation to +/- 0: Go to exposure compensation and adjust setting.
- Check battery charge. If 1 bar or less replace battery: If 1 bar or less, replace battery- on the top right corner of the camera screen.
- Set the lens to A: Move camera mode to letter A.
